PED & TPED Inspector

In this role you will mainly - but not only - be assigned to a Rail Tank Manufacturer; performing inspection and certification activities as described in the Job Description bellow in accordance with various European Standards / Directives and Internal Procedures of our Notified Body.

You will get involved in our continuous training program related to Codes & Directives for Pressure Equipment, both Stationary & Transportable.

Job Description for a full - time inspector assigned to a rail tank manufacturer

In relation with customer manufacturing processes:

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual, NDE and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

In relation with our internal processes:

• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Requirements:

• Located in either Arad or Timis counties
• Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering. IWE/EWE certificate.
• Minimum 3 years proven work experience in Pressure Equipment Manufacturing, or in Testing, Inspection & Certification field. Background in Rail Tank Manufacturing Industry is a plus.

• Good command of English. German is a plus.
• Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
• A clean Category B driving license
• Willingness to travel for business purposes
