For our office in Arad, Romania we are hiring: 1'st Level Support Engineer

Job Description:

• Record, Triage & troubleshoot issues occurred at our customers
• Drive issue closer in cost/time effectiveness
• Provide support to our customers in regard to their storage back-up needs
• Keep a knowledge-base information of support routines up to date
• Contribute to the development of scripting and automation tools
• Management of pipeline issue , oversight on customer needs & identification of key trends
• Escalation of systemic issues
• Technical liaison between 2'nd level and customer teams

Requested Skills

• Mandatory German and English Speaker
• IT skills: Windows Environment, Office Package literate, Basic Hardware and software knowledge
• Networking and Database basic understanding
• Really good communication skills
• Willingness to work in a support environment

Nice to have skills

• 1'st level IT support experience
• Scripting
• Knowledge IBM Spectrum Protect (former IBM Tivoli Storage Manager)
• Linux / Unix as user and administrator
• Back-up / Storage know how
