Packing machine mechanical engineer
Looking for a motivated mechanical engineer with experience in packing/production line machines and CAD skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & propose new solutions, processes, and provide explanations on performing a function/task related to the industrial equipment
- Develop engineering instructions for the equipment
- Develop commissioning documents (static and dynamic checks)
- Maintain & Update existing documentation (PLM)
- Supervise on site installation of equipment and train operators and technicians
- Communicate with different stakeholders
What are we looking for:
Technical skills
- Technical university degree (mechanical background)
- Good knowledge of mechanical construction principles and practices
- Good knowledge of CAD software (2D & 3D)
- Previous work experience on packaging or other industrial production lines
- Previous experience using PLM software and principles
Soft skills
- English language - fluent (B2 or higher)
- French language is a plus
- Communicate effectively and empathically
- Attention to detail
- Get the job done or cannot sleep at night
- Must be willing to travel and potentially relocate
