Mid-Senior ReactJS Developer

Role Summary

Fortech is looking to add a Mid-Senior ReactJS Developer to its team in Cluj-Napoca.

In this role, using the latest technologies and with the power of automation, machine learning and data-driven analytics, you will deliver flexible, efficient and high-performance SaaS and PaaS solutions to accelerate our client’s business growth. The keyword for our architecture is “simplify”. With the help of various front-end development technologies and frameworks, we enable the effortless use of technology for all users in order to allow them to accomplish complex tasks.  

This will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including the design and architectural decisions, and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration and deployment.

You will be part of our core team consisting of Front-End and DevSecOps engineers, who are driven and motivated to design and build business solutions.

Your  Responsibilities 

• Deliver high-quality code
• Bring quality input into the projects by ensuring your code is tested, documented and takes into consideration performance, security and accessibility aspects when needed
• Participate in the technical and architectural decisions on the project you work on
• Provide help and support for other team members when needed
• Get involved in projects research and initiatives, aimed at expanding the know-how of the team
• Mentor and coach other team members

Your Competencies  

• Relevant experience with the modern JavaScript ecosystem: ECMAScript 6
• Working experience with ReactJS and Redux
• Experience with testing framework/tool in JavaScript: Jest
• Experience with material UI or other UI/UX guidelines
• Focus on clean code and following established best practices
• A keen eye for potential performance issues
• Written and spoken English is a must
• Passionate about programming and computer science in general
• Availability for teaching others and sharing information
• React-admin – nice to have
• Redux-form NPM – nice to have
• JSS – nice to have
• BPMN-JS (BPMN knowledge, in general, would be great)

The Project

Back-End high productivity platform as a service that is using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) as a standard for developing applications based on microservices architecture. The platform is a prototype, tested on insurance policies, but designed to be a flexible one, integrated into any type of business that is using BPMN.
