Ready to explore a world of opportunities? If so, the Leadership Experience Acceleration Program (LEAP) is just for you.

Over the two-year program, the Engineering LEAP members will rotate through three Engineering roles within the HARMAN Group, with one being an international rotation and you gain global experience, enhance their Engineering and Leadership skills and build an in depth understanding of the technology, businesses and functions within HARMAN.

 

Your tasks & responsibilities

As Telematics Engineering Trainee, you are responsible for supporting creation of telematics concepts and development of specific products and technology by meeting all requirements and specifications set by internal Engineering teams and external customers. You will learn topics about each domain from telematics projects and you will see the connection between domains from different views. Also, you will be part of the telematics strategies and plan creation.

 

Traveler with a passion for the IT / automotive industry - You will participate in global program activities that will strengthen business skills and build future leadership capabilities. Also, you will complete an international rotation within Europe to increase global exposure.

 

Analytical thinker with desire to learn and develop –You will propose and develop innovative ideas to drive breakthrough solutions and also collaborate with peers and project domain teams globally on telematics  assignments.

Team Player & Intercultural awareness – Remember, you will travel within Europe and you will have the chance to meet new, interesting people with various cultural roots so try to keep a positive attitude and be a team player throughout this journey.

 

 

Your skills

As an ideal trainee you have an above-average Master’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT related) specialization along with first practical experience in the field of Engineering thanks to internships (if they were international, even better). If you are passionate about extracurricular activities, like tech NGOstech labsrobotic competitionsErasmus scholarships, students associations, then we have something for you.

Willingness to travel (up to 20%), commitment to the rotations over the length of the program and the ability to relocate outside of home country for one rotation (typically no longer than 6-8 months) is required. Keeping in mind that you will travel, your English skills, both written and oral, must be on point.

 

Still, if you have some experience with internships, you like to travel, develop and learn, don’t hesitate and take the LEAP, we will help you figure out the rest.
