Junior Web Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for students in the final years of studying at a technical profile or young graduates (both Bachelor and Master degrees) from the IT faculties to grow our Web Development team.

As a Junior Web Developer, you will join a dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle while being guided by your experienced colleagues.

You will be part of our Web team in Cluj-Napoca and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our delivery centers and with our clients from Western Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform code documentation, implementation, testing and inspecting at imposed standards
• Provide specification analysis and effort assessment
• Perform debugging and testing own code
• Perform code review on a daily basis
• Attend daily status meetings
• Ensure continuous improvement and studying
  
  

Your Competencies

• Fundamental knowledge of Web development
• Generic programming knowledge (OOP, Algorithms)
• Basic Web technologies know-how: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of code versioning systems
• Focus on clean code and following established best practices
• Commitment towards results and eagerness to learn
• Good command of the English language
• Knowledge of unit testing – nice to have
• Basic knowledge of an architectural pattern – nice to have
• Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework library – nice to have
• Knowledge of module bundlers (Webpack) – nice to have
• Knowledge of general-purpose task runners (npm, Grunt, Gulp etc.) – nice to have
