The ideal candidate:

- holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical) or physics; electrical engineering a plus

- good knowledge of English;

- ability to read and interpret technical documents (standards, handbooks, reports);

- well organized, meticulous and result oriented;

- solid computer literacy; proficiency - a plus;

- ability to source/ handle / manage complex equipment;

- patient and capable of consistent organization and tracking of technical documentation;

- previous experience in similar positions (metrology responsible, training in metrology and calibrations) – a plus

- ability to function autonomously;

- trained as ISauditor – a plus.

 

Integration and reporting: member of the QA-QC & EM department, reports to the QHSE Manager and Deputy QHSE Manager

 

Main job requirements

- manage the calibrations system of the company, ensuring timely verifications, swift repairs and prompt replacement of measurement tools / equipment as required;

- participate to control and test equipment sourcing, installation and maintenance (as in: software upgrades, parts ordering and replacement, etc.)

- generate and issue specific documents such as calibration sequences and operating instructions for the existing test equipment;

- manage outsourced repairs and maintenance processes for control and test equipment;

- cooperate with the Maintenance teams in relation to upgrade projects for the production lines;

- report hierarchically any deviations found during current activities and suggest appropriate countermeasures

 

Auxiliary job requirements:

- integration with the current ISO internal auditors team;

- participate as per specific capacities to Technology and Improvement projects ;

- supervise calibrations and repairs on test equipment / control modules performed by third parties;

- participate in professional training of personnel concerning usage of in-process control toools and modules, measurement equipment, etc;
