HR System Administrator

Your Role

You will assure optimal functioning of the system (Incident Management, Release Updates and integration with BT IS landscape), manage implementation tasks (system configuration) and make sure that System changes are documented, are auditable and compliant with Global Governance processes, Works Council regulations and legal framework.

Your Challenges

  • Monitor the system to ensure it runs smoothly (operations), it is maintained regularly and efficiently (maintenance and evolution, patching), technical issues are addressed rapidly
  • You are responsible for the Incident Management process (as part of the Global Support Model) and internal screening of issues, oversees the Incidents flow and acts as point of escalation for issues raised by the Super Users and further escalation with the Vendor or other parties when necessary
  • Coordinate activities with the System Super Users team for whom is sharing the responsibility of technical competency development with the line managers
  • Assure support and interactions between the administrated system and other HR systems
  • Conduct ongoing gap analysis between organizational needs and system configuration, make decisions balancing global and local needs, and execute both the system configuration and associated change management; in collaboration with BT/HR IS, CoE, HR Operations, BA (if applicable);
  • Make technology decisions in collaboration with BT/HR IS, CoE, HR Operations, BA (if applicable) and can perform technical customizations, programming, etc.
  • Assure support (negotiations preparation, technical description, demo sessions) for labour relations and Work Council negotiations in case of system upgrades, if requested
  • Responsible for global access authorisation changes, new roles definition and setup, including the corresponding role configuration and request / approval process via AAT.
  • Assure Change Request Governance and control of the Change Request process, make sure that all system changes are documented and needed approvals are obtained before implementation
  • Perform audit trail checks in various areas of the system, to assure compliance with Data Privacy, Works Council agreements and other applicable regulations (privacy agreements, data retention, system access, deletion rules etc.).

Qualifications

  • Education University Degree, HR or technical qualifications an advantage, but not prerequisite
  • Foreign Languages English and German at a proficient level
  • Working experience 3-5/ years of work experience in working with complex processes and customers with minimum 1 working as system super user or system administrator
  • Advanced MS EXCEL skills
  • Previous experience in working with HR specific systems
