Description

Part of the Employee Relations team that oversees the relationship company-employees from hiring to exit this role working under supervision provides clerical and administrative support and assists with day to day operations of the team focused on: staffing, performance management, trainings, reviews, salary planning, reporting, data management etc. Provides support in various projects as they arise.

Responsibilities
  • Active involvement in all employee relations related activities and projects; provides ad hoc support to the Employee Relations team and assists with miscellaneous HR projects.
  • Full administrative support in day-to-day operations of the team: the preparation of correspondence, schedules, confidential materials, data entry to HR systems/tools and various employee issues, updating organization charts as well as generating reports.
  • Collects, consolidates, summarizes data from organization (ex: training needs, statistics, evaluations). Provide accurate and timely reporting for HR activities when required.
  • Assists with staffing activities which may include participating in raising of requisitions, recruitment logistics interview scheduling, operational communication etc.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of the Human Resources information systems. Maintains employee-related databases well up to date: creates HR records for new employees and updates them whenever necessary; identify and corrects/reports inaccuracies or errors. Generates reports upon requests.
  • Owns the organization’s JD database; makes sure this is up to date and job descriptions are available for all employees. Make sure organization charts are available and updated
  • Provides support in employee communication processes: all employee meetings, employee opinion surveys etc
  • Provides help with follow-up on internal documents flow. Assure accurate and timely submission of employee documents to other functional areas.
  • Provides support for assignment abroad assignments in close partnership with Campus HR Ops team and assigned owner function in Employee Relations team.
  • Provides support for development and implementation of HR dashboards.
  • In assigned areas of responsibility constantly monitor processes and their associated tools; propose & implement continuous improvement actions (after validation with management); act as gatekeeper for assigned processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in an administrative and/or customer service role; Human Resources preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (effective presentations skills included). Strong customer service focus.
  • Proficient English language skills (verbal and written) – other languages a plus. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to work through (HR) systems. Knowledge of HR systems and processes is a plus. Good analytical skills is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to manage multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency, all while managing unexpected requests and changing priorities. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and manage own workload with a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude. Creative problem-solving mind-set and solid team player. Excellent attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy.High level of integrity/confidentiality and diplomacy.
