Overview: The Hardware Development Manager has to start a new department within the Research & Development Centre from Timisoara, in line with the Huf Group Strategy. His role is to coordinate and supervise the professional work of the department. The goal of this department is to perform Hardware Development activities for Electronics and Mechatronics products, part of Car Access and Security Systems.

Key Activities

  • Allocate the human and material resources; plan and track the activities in order to ensure that the required work is done in time;
  • Ensure the required technical and soft skills level for every member of his department;
  • Support the integration of the new employees, and define individual development roadmap for every department member;
  • Perform evaluation for all department members and ensure the required motivation level;
  • Define the budget plan for his department and ensure fulfillment;
  • Ensure process implementation; fulfill required quality level;
  • Regularly report the status following the required indicators, and take corrective measures;
  • Facilitate the communication within his department and with the external business partners.

Desired Profile

  • University Degree (. Electronics, Computer Science, Physics);
  • More than 3 years experience on similar position;
  • Hardware Development experience;
  • Automotive Product Development process knowledge;
  • Automotive Car Access and Security systems knowledge;
  • Team player with an open minded attitude;
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal in English and native language;
  • Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects.
