Front-end UI/UX Designer

We’re looking for that rare individual with a creative instinct to design incredible user experiences as well as the technical front-end ability to assist with implementing them. In this role, you’ll work with developers & managers to reinforce the creative vision for the company’s brand and product experience.

We want someone who loves learning, is curious, who gets things done and who is passionate about building great products. Most of all, we want someone who is excited to collaborate in a small, capable team where everyone has a real impact. We highly value great engineering and great teamwork.

Don't stress if you haven't used all the technologies we use. We encourage learning and enjoy teaching.

Qualifications:

• A skilled designer fluent in modern web design best practices including all aspects of responsive web design.
• Appreciates a beautiful user interface
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Has a solid portfolio featuring both great design and well-written code.
• Experience creating graphical assets and implementing them in code
• Expertise creating clean code from your designs using HTML/CSS
• The ability to demonstrate logic and reasoning behind designs
• Multiple years of experience in web design and writing custom HTML/CSS
• Is comfortable and productive working independently
• Is able to error check, proofread and thoroughly test their own work.
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Slack or JIRA
• Experience with GitHub or similar cloud-based versioning control system.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and ability to easily interface with IT development team members and leaders
• Provides and receives constructive feedback gracefully.
