Embedded Test SW Responsible for PSS TSR

Job Description

As Passive Safety systems have to meet rising efficiency and scalability demands, their software component has to provide appropriate solutions to continuously increasing technical challenges. Within Passive Safety global footprint, our R&D location plays a highly important role. With the contribution of all disciplines, we develop complete products starting from the idea until production launch.

In this context we are searching for experienced software engineers capable of developing embedded test SW for Airbag unit production tests (ASICs, Sensors, Load Drivers testing and others).

In the scope of the Function, you will:

  •  Be member of the Airbag platform system project team;
  •  Create embedded test SW for airbag unit check;
  •  Create documentation and perform tests about the developed functions;
  •  Guide others in order to implement and test the code.

 For the beginning, you will get support in order to step wise familiarize yourself with our products, tools, processes and organization. We will help you to smoothly apply your engineering knowledge and experience in the demanding automotive field.

Qualifications

  •  University Degree (. Computers, Automation, Electronics, Informatics);
  •  At least 1 year experience in Software engineering for embedded systems;
  •  Very good knowledge in C;
  •  Good knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers;
  •  Good networking skills with other departments (HW, Mechanical, Production);
  •  Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
