Deliver real-time embedded software components constrained by space, performance and reliability for multiple platforms. Add new capability to existing software products. Candidate will be involved in all stages of the software lifecycle: design, implementation and testing. Creativity is required to solve challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded projects in all phases from specification to release in production.
• Work in a team of software, hardware and mechanical design engineers.
• Maintain and upgrade current product portfolio.
• Develop solid and efficient test tools and procedures.
• Handle together with project managers, product/software solutions certification.
• Participate in developing quality assurance procedures related to software design, implementation and verification.
• Work on software specification documents ensuring that the design is in compliance with relevant international, project specific and internal Roxar standards.
• Ensure that the engineering documents produced are checked and approved according to the applicable procedures/checklists.
• Keep up to date with current technologies
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• BS (or MS) in Computer Engineering, Cybernetics, Computer Science or related.
• Experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
• Experience with digital communication protocols (MODBUS, I2C, HART, CAN, etc) is an advantage.
• Experience with integrating hardware and software systems.
• Understanding of embedded hardware and architectures is an advantage.
• Good English language skills.
