Tasks
- Creating part lists and development releases based on drawings and development concepts
- Controlling and monitoring development releases
- Contacting the responsible person for the product documentation
- Assisting in the further development of processes and systems in the product data management
- Monitoring the internal interfaces regarding the product development process
- Preparing and presenting results in committees
- Keeping close contact with components responsible and becoming a consultant for Product Data Management subjects
- Tracking Product Data Management milestones and adequately adapt to the project needs
- Implementing changes in the parts list based on change management requests
- Collaborating with international project teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or an equivalent education
- Several years of professional experience in construction and development in the automotive industry
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office products as well as a profound SAP user-expertise
- At least one or two years of professional experience in technical documentation and Product Data Management
- Previous work experience within Volkswagen Group projects is considered a plus
- German language is mandatory and English language is considered a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
- Willingness to travel
