Your tasks

  • Design reports and dashboards using several reporting tools, where advanced developing would require scripting, HTML and CSS knowledge;
  • Investigate several source systems and tables to retrieve information needed in the reports;
  • Model staging and data warehouse tables to include additional fields or calculations, to answer the reporting needs;
  • Check with requesters the information and understand how this can be calculated and shown in the reports;
  • Maintain the morning scheduled update jobs, check any existing errors and provide solutions;
  • Manage the security of the whole BI system (web reporting platform, server databases, cubes);
  • Design and maintain OLAP cubes for ad-hoc analysis;
  • Document any report changes or new requests, with the technical and functional aspects.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technologies / Data Analytics or similar;
  • 2-3 years professional experience in Business Intelligence / Data warehouse; experience in Finance or Controlling;
  • Fluency in English mandatory, German is considered a plus, any further language appreciated;
  • Very good command of SQL (mandatory), HTML and basic scripting knowledge required, VBA is considered a plus;
  • Previous experience with OLAP cubes, any knowledge of MDX would be a plus, but not mandatory;
  • Experienced with an ERP system, at any level;
  • Good numeracy skills, strong analytic and investigative skills, combined with a strong service orientation;
  • Eager to learn, team spirit, initiative and autonomous way of working.
