In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales orders to ensure correct transfer between Business Systems: JDE and Oracle. You will also facilitate resolutions of any issues that may arise by communicating and following up with the responsible support departments or individuals and provide functional expertise and support in the planning, development, design, documentation, testing and implementation of Business Systems projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor sales order interface status consistency between JDE and Oracle, through CoEx interface, to ensure orders are interfaced on a timely manner;
  • Review error messages, analyze interface issues and facilitate timely resolution;
  • Investigate root causes for interface issues and identify and implement preventive actions;
  • Log IT tickets for unusual errors and follow up for resolution;
  • Communicate promptly and efficiently with all relevant support departments or individuals;
  • Provide monthly reports on the CoEx activities and performance;
  • Support with testing activities: ticket based, for enhancements (Business Systems Change Order), business systems implementation projects, Instance Acceptance Test, Disaster Recovery etc.);
  • Prepare, review and update training materials and application documentation as required;
  • Provide training and support to new team members and end users on the functionality of the JDE and Oracle applications, CoEx interface and connected systems;
  • Support implementation of Business Systems strategies;
  • Provide input for status overview of current projects/Business Systems activities to Europe Business Systems organization;
  • Perform analysis of business processes, data and issues, provide expertise for functional areas related to Business Systems and processes and provide guidance in change management;
  • Assist with the requirements definition including final report, user interface, logical system flow;
  • Start an escalation process if required.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • University degree in functional business areas or Information Technology;
  • Fluent English language skills: verbal, reading and writing;
  • More than 2 years’ experience in an administrative role;
  • Knowledge and/or experience in using ERP business systems (Oracle EBS is a plus);
  • Expertise in one or more functional areas (Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning);
  • Demonstrated high aptitude for learning new Business Systems and processes in depth and detail;
  • Involvement in medium or large-scale projects;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively handle multiple priorities;
  • Ability to work with business users in a demanding environment;
  • Ability to work independently as well as with remote and virtual project and support teams.
