Business Intelligence Developer - Iasi, Romania

 

We are looking to recruit further Business Intelligence Developer/Reporting Specialist to complement our existing team of BI developers.

 

As a Business Intelligence Developer you will build dynamic online reports for client projects in setup and maintenance and ensures delivery of robust, high-quality reporting solutions.  We would love to hear from you if you know how to work with Qlik tools, particularly Qlik Sense.

 

Develops dynamic online reports for client projects in setup and maintenance. Ensures delivery of robust, high-quality reporting solutions using Oracle SQL, Qlik Sense and TrialMax platform.

 

We will provide training in Qlik Sense but we do need you to have experience of SQL and ideally experience of MI tool such as Tableau.


Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence


  • Create highly customized and dynamic online reports using SQL, XML and Qlik Sense (Business Intelligence reporting tool) for a broad range of clinical research projects
  • Develop a long term strategy for client and internal Business Intelligence reporting needs including database and data structure improvements
  • Participate in client/design/review meetings
  • Perform functional requirements gathering and documentation creation
  • Provide guidance to the client on the most suitable solution, ensuring that all recommendations are achievable within the scope of the product
  • Investigate and propose solutions for change in requirements or potential issue/bug
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure complete review of application design for end user use and adherence to a clinical protocol
  • Support development, review and approval of project related study documentation during the course of the Project Lifecycle, ensure documentation is complete and of a high quality
  • Actively participate at client meetings acting as an ambassador for CRF Health at all times
  • Present solutions at client design review and testing meetings at customer sites (as needed)
  • Perform billable application work, including system reviews and sales prototypes at customer sites
  • Ensure that the project team maintains a high quality service and on time delivery of project outputs for the client
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to QMS (Quality Management System)
  • Ensure knowledge and understanding remains up-to-date with software releases and updates
  • Support on-boarding and training/mentoring of new hires
  • Domestic and International travel as necessary.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes


Other qualities and experience that we would like you to have:

  • BSc, BA degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, programming, related degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Team working and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to escalate when necessary
  • Able to provide succinct and accurate feedback to the client and the teams about progress and outcomes
  • Evidence of the willingness and capability to share knowledge openly with others
  • Remains calm under pressure and can handle multiple tasks at any one time
  • Has great attention to detail and accuracy and takes pride in delivering a high quality output
  • Must be team oriented with a 'Can Do' attitude.
