Your Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close opportunities with prospective clients
- Achieve your quarterly and annual sales targets
- Ensure pipeline growth and forecast accuracy while maintaining optimal CRM hygiene
- Speak your client’s language and become a consultant and trusted advisor by studying their business model and industry
- Practice consultative selling with our prospective clients, uncovering real business pains addressable via our range of solutions
- Articulate effectively Fortech’s value proposition and learn to map it on to your clients’ business objectives
- Partner closely with Delivery to ensure our proposals always meet validated client requirements
- Show strategic thinking and develop strong, authentic relationships with the right client stakeholders across lines of business
- Drive pricing and contract negotiations, leveraging internal legal and business partners as applicable
- Leverage Fortech senior management as executive sponsors throughout the sales cycle
- Stay engaged after the sale and bring your contribution to customer success across the entire contract lifecycle
- Mentor and coach new team members as they come onboard
- 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing, business development role
- Track record of winning new client engagements and then growing them consultative
- Proven experience building strategic, long-term client relationships vs transactional selling
- Showcase an entrepreneurial mindset and a heightened sense of urgency
- High energy, you thrive in fast-changing, hypergrowth environments
- A practitioner of the 80/20 rule, you know how to prioritize for success
- Strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple work streams in parallel
- Experienced with lengthy, complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations
- Stress-resilient and comfortable constantly working against deadlines
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Tenacious and self-confident, you know the sale starts when the prospect says “no”
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English is a must, other European languages welcome
- You are a Team Player who understands success is only achieved collectively and never in isolation
- Availability for teaching others and sharing information
- Passionate about technology, a technical background is a plus but not a must
