What you will be doing:
Technical support
• Software installation (client-server, TSE/Citrix)
• System configuration and settings
• Tests and validation of software releases
• Software license administration
• Report customization
• Assistance to Integrators during integration and migration projects
• Creation and maintenance of procedures
• Database upgrades
Functional support
• Provide functional assistance on day to day calls
• Provide functional assistance on projects requiring customization, changes and training
• Provide trainings - using the Steelcase electronic catalogue
In addition to technical and functional support, you will also have to perform the following activities linked to catalogue management:
• Test of new catalogue installations
• Assistance on catalogue installation and settings
• System configuration for new catalogues
Mission:
Technical scope
The Software (EasyComS) is designed as a client-server system.
It contains an SQL database, third party-software such as graphic product configurator, report engine, electronic document management, web services supporting electronic Data interchanges.
The Software is running on standard Microsoft Operating systems: Windows Server 2008 or higher, Terminal server and/or Citrix.
Functional Scope
Software functions support international trades: currencies, languages for editing commercial and logistic documents in 32 languages and retailer’s organizations (Sales force, sales managers, order managers, logistics specialists, finance teams).
It also supports master data management, quote processing, sales order management from procurement, deliveries to customer billing and accountability (Accounts Receivable - Accounts payable).
Steelcase develops and provides a Sales and logistics management system to its dealers and subsidiaries in EMEA; there are more than 150 system instances and 1 200 users.
Who you are:
• You have a technical degree in computer science preferred
• 1-2 years’ work experience appreciated
• You have general knowledge of SQL and database
• Working knowledge on Windows servers and Citrix
• Good level of English is mandatory, French is considered a plus
• You are customer oriented (ability to listen)
• You have good interpersonal skills both with internal and external customers.
• You have analytical skills (ability to analyze and synthesize),
• Teamwork (team spirit), managing time and workload effectively.
