Are you a talented and experienced Windows System Administrator who excels finding innovative solutions for our operations department ?
Azets IT Operations department is divided between Norway, Sweden and Romania. Working language is English. You will be working in a dynamic team with other highly skilled professionals.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:

Azets IT Operations department is divided between Norway, Sweden and Romania. Working language is English. You will be working in a dynamic team with other highly skilled professionals.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:
- Identify and troubleshoot platform issues
- Perform server-maintenance in a large IT environment (mostly Windows).
- Monitor performance and reliability of Microsoft systems and services
- Monitor performance and reliability MSSQL, IIS, SCOM, etc
- Build and support AWS/Azure and private virtual infrastructure (VMWare)
- Support the continuous integration infrastructure.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant education/experience
- Experience with operation on Windows Server OS, preferably in cloud based environments like AWS, Azure etc.
- Experience troubleshooting SQL and noSQL databases
- Experience with Windows Server installation, configuration and maintenance
- Intermediate or expert level with at least 5 years experience in the following areas:
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Windows Configuration
- Windows Patching
- Windows Hardening
- Windows Logging
- Software Management
- Monitoring (SCOM)
- Basic to intermediate skill level in network and infrastructure in the following areas:
- Firewall
- TCP/IP
- Routing
- Troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findings
- Be proactive, develop new skills and improve existing ones
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning in a production environment
- Scripting skills would be a plus
- Versioning tools knowledge (. Git)
- SQL Query processing and/or optimization
- Accurate
- Strong collaborative skills
- Self-propelled, able to be highly productive working alone or in a team. Must work well with limited supervision, capable of handle multiple priorities, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- You enjoy change and like taking on new challenges
- Systematic, organized, precise and hands-on
- Proficient in spoken and written English
