Training and Communication Specialist

Role:

Working closely with the Subject Matter Experts, design and develop high quality safety, risk and security training and communication products across the region. The role includes the development of new courses, maintenance of existing courses through training product (Instructor led and e-Learning) updates and revisions, creation of posters, newsletters and other communications methods.

Responsibilities: 

    Enhance the knowledge and skills of the operational and functional teams to improve safety, risk and security performance, compliance and culture across the region. 

 Create engaging and effective training and communication materials that successfully achieves the identified learning outcomes. 

 Ensure that training and communication projects are completed on time and by project managing SME’s closely. 

 Develop and deliver courses and communication to SMEs requirements, using creative and innovative designs.

 Build courses within Articulate Storyline, upload and format content and animations, assist with testing, checking quality, functionality and content (spelling and grammar).

 Understand concepts quickly, accurately and troubleshoot course / communication design and development problems.
 Provide administrative support within SharePoint – upload and format content and imagery through SharePoint.
 Manage workloads effectively, including balancing scheduling conflicts and changing development priorities.
 Provide data and reports, monitor performance and report to key stakeholders.

Essential qualifications:

Skills (including languages):

·       Exceptional use of MS Office, specifically: PowerPoint and Word

·       Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

·       Exceptional written skills, including strong use of grammar and writing styles

·       High attention to detail, including formatting, editing and proofreading

·       Well organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·        Results-orientated, able to execute and get things done on time

Desirable  qualifications:
·       Multi-Lingual in two or more languages (English, French, Spanish, German)

Experience
• 3+ Years of working experience in Training Course and Communication Design and Development - desirable
• Familiarity with Standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, OHSAS 18001 etc.) so that differences can be identified and understood- desirable
