What we’re looking for:

The candidate will be responsible for understanding the requirements proposed by the various stakeholders in the company (Marketing, Operation, Product, …) and translate those requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications that the engineering team can work with.

The candidate will influence teams in relation to design, technology decisions and time lines and release schedule. The candidate will need to establish close partnership with all the teams in the company in to ensure successful releases.

 

The successful person will probably have:

 

• Computer Science degree required
• At least 2 years’ experience in writing functional and technical specifications for a B2C web company
• Have a very good understanding of web, mobile app technology in a demanding consumer environment. Strong technical skills including SQL and PHP/Java is required.
• Experience in pre-paid card, payment systems, banking is a major plus
• Very strong communication skills
• Ability to coordinate both technical and non-technical aspects of projects
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and capability of working on multiple projects at the same time
• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific functional or technical assignment
• Experience in building scalable and highly available global multi-language, multi-currency system is required
