Your Team:

You will be part of a dispersed team (Romania & India) composed of experienced and junior level system engineers willing to bring you up to speed and share their insights on the state-of-the-art technologies and tools that we’re using.

As part of the Desktop Tools Team, you can channel your passion and your knowledge to make a positive impact on the workplace of PTC employees. You can take advantage of your experience and learn new things while helping increase the quality and speed of the IT services offered throughout PTC by our team.

You will have the opportunity to put your extensive knowledge with Install Shield, MSI, App-V, Visual Basic Scripting, PowerShell, VMWare, AD, SCCM, JAMF and others, to very good use, while you will also get the chance to leverage your competencies in problem solving and analytical thinking. Furthermore, if you have any experience with other virtualization solutions or cloud platforms like Citrix or Azure, you will get the opportunity to expand on that and make an even bigger impact.

Your Day-To-Day:

You will be responsible for the delivery of packaged applications according to a set of standards which can be safely deployed across the environment. You will work together with your colleagues on other activities related to Windows security patching, software packaging and testing, Enterprise OS Deployment, solving incidents and problems that are assigned to the team.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

We’re looking for someone that has:

• Solid knowledge with Install Shield, VBS, PowerShell, App-V, SCCM.
• Previous enterprise experience on workplace infrastructure and software packaging.
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to learn new things and put new technologies to work. Any additional knowledge related to Azure, JAMF, Linux is a big plus.
