System Engineer for Access System into Car - I BS (TSR)

In the Access System group we make sure that only the right person can enter and start a car. Car access is a very complex and interesting subject involving wireless communication (RF, LF, bluetooth, NFC), cryptology, proximity detection, driver recognition and safety regulations.

We are looking for system engineer to work with us on access & start functions like remote keyless entry, passive start and entry, wireless power chargers, high frequency modules, electronic immobilizer and other innovative products derived from SMART access into the car which have many interfaces with other system components in the car. System overview is more than one discipline engineering! System is the full picture of the internal electronics, connectivity, interfaces, robustness, safety and security, reliability and agility of the car, down to incredible details and with a wide sense of understanding and vision of current and future architectures of cars. It is estimated that over 600,000,000 passenger cars travel the streets and roads of the world today.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

Job requirements:

• Technical university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Telecommunication, Electronics, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of the product development areas (electrical engineering, software, mechanical engineering);
• Very good knowledge of requirement management, car architecture, change and configuration management (SPICE and CMMI);
• Good knowledge and understanding of functional safety standards (IEC 61508/ISO 26262) and software development life cycles;
• Cryptology and algorithm development is a must;
• Cyber security knowledge is an advantage;
• Very good communication skills and customer focus;
• Very good writing, reading and speaking English skills.
