JLG Manufacturing Central Europe  MEDIAS(Sibiu) is recruiting:

SUPERVISOR II

Responsibilities:

·       Ensure that policies, procedures, and CLA requirements are satisfied.

·       Implement and sustain 6S in work areas.

·       Willingness to accept and delegate authority.

·       Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.

·       Focus on product quality and process control.  

·        Investigate & perform root cause analysis on line & material shortages.

·       Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.

·       Implement effective corrective actions utilizing structured planning methods.

·       Point of contact for all safety issues: investigate accidents, apply solutions, etc.

·       Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and overtime.

·       Meet expected production requirements.

·       Establishes and facilitates small group team initiatives for continuous improvement.

·       Responsible for evaluating existing and new products to determine the optimum processes, standards, equipment, tools, flow and facilities required to manufacture products.

In doing so, the responsibilities include:

o   Conducts root-cause analyses of manufacturing process to identify, define and resolve manufacturing problems and opportunities. Enlists the requisite supportetc.) to ensure the timely resolution of problems and the prompt implementation of improvements.

o   Continually monitors existing operations and implements possible improvements or cost reductions. Prepares related analysis, layouts and other supportive data. Prepares comparative cost estimates using alternative production methods.

·       Audits standards and ensures changes for improvements in data base accuracy.

·       Champion process improvements & lead Kaizen events.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, 3 plus years of related experience;

·       Proved experience in leading team;

·       Lean/Six Sigma or Project Management certifications;

·       Ability to plan and organize projects;

·       Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines; knowledge of computer skills;

·       Fluent in English;
