Strategic Site Intelligence (SSI) has an exciting opportunity for SSI Specialist, Clinical Planning & Analytics.
The SSI Specialist is responsible for providing input into the generation of site and investigator strategies and collaborating with other groups involved in pre-award site intelligence activities and site identification activities after study award. The successful candidate will understand the landscape of site intelligence and be able to produce accurate and tailored site/ investigator list recommendations. The successful candidate must possess strong data analytics skills, critical thinking and communication skills and the ability to collaborate. May be responsible for some or all of the following activities at any one time.

Strategic Site Intelligence (SSI) has an exciting opportunity for SSI Specialist, Clinical Planning & Analytics.
The SSI Specialist is responsible for providing input into the generation of site and investigator strategies and collaborating with other groups involved in pre-award site intelligence activities and site identification activities after study award. The successful candidate will understand the landscape of site intelligence and be able to produce accurate and tailored site/ investigator list recommendations. The successful candidate must possess strong data analytics skills, critical thinking and communication skills and the ability to collaborate. May be responsible for some or all of the following activities at any one time.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of accurate and robust site strategies in support of opportunities (including but not limited to Requests for Proposals, awards and re-strategies);
- Ensure IQVIA Clinical Planning & Analytics services is providing a competitive edge in winning new business;
- Support the generation, analysis and interpretation of study related information to produce and recommend tiered site / investigator lists during the pre-award bidding process and post award. May produce summary reports and present internally or externally. Conduct data mining for the development of site / investigator lists, site strategies and scenario planning as required;
- Notify the SSI Lead if possible improvement to the analysis plan could be made;
- Possess in-depth understanding of the data and methodologies used to develop tiered site / investigator lists;
- Produce IQVIA Prime/Partner network site utilization and site performance metrics through efficient site feasibility and site identification;
- May provide effective site strategy text for inclusion in proposals and feasibility reports;
- May support the development of materials related to site strategies for customer bid defense meetings and to internal customers;
- May be involved in regular communication with staff in assigned therapeutic areas on non-project issues such as business strategy, mutual pipelines / planning performance trends across all studies (using performance scorecards);
- Map country / site / patient’s capacity in appropriate geographic areas and contribute to the country / site / patient development strategy to support IQVIA pipeline;
- Contribute to the process improvement through working with IQVIA processes to deliver quality and consistency;
- Contribute with management of Business Conflicts of Interest (BCOIs);
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and IQVIA project teams to resolve issues and provide recommendations for solutions
- In depth knowledge of the drug development processes across all functional areas
- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly and accurately understand, access, and analyze data from divergent sources to provide an assimilation of data leading to conclusions and recommendations of site tiering
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in aspects of data analysis and presentation software, Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
- Critical and creative thinking skills and ability to problem solve
- Detail and quality oriented with strong focus on excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients. Ability to explain ideas clearly and negotiate when necessary.
- Excellent organization skills and effective presentation skills
- Knowledge and ability to apply GCP / ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
- Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
- Regular sitting for extended periods of time
