THE ROLE

The IT Architect - Solution & Design Architect - EUC, Voice & Mobility spends 90% of his/her time supporting project teams implementing infrastructure for global projects and 10% of the time working with the IT Architecture team in the creation of roadmaps, standards and future state architectures.

The IT Architect - Solution & Design Architect - EUC, Voice & Mobility works closely with the Hosting/Network Architect, and the EUC/Voice/Mobility/Events engineers, and the Business in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions and new technologies for managing changes in Delphi Technology.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this position are related to the architecture and delivery of solutions leveraging IT standards:

* Author infrastructure architecture for programs, projects and initiatives.
* Oversee all technical aspects of implementations of end-to-end integrated systems.
* Develop logical, conceptual and physical architectural models.
* Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations.
* Support business and IT strategic planning.

Voice and Mobility Responsibilities:

* Responsible for a wide range of network functionality, from configuring PBXs to overseeing implementation projects.
* Coordinate strategies for defining, deploying, and maintaining the company IP telephony voice communication architecture and its associated network connections and component hardware.
* Will support all engineering projects for VoIP initiatives, including acquisition
* Planning technology roadmaps, and configuring and optimizing all VoIP/IP-PBX telephone systems and services

EUC Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the technical architecture board using industry best standards to define and document policies for Delphi desktop architecture.
* Create and maintain Reference Architectures for EUC services
* Participate in architecture board.
* Identify and delivery of the end user compute roadmap and evolution requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable course of studies
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a solution architect position, mostly in the responsible towers
• Very deep knowledge and significant experience on application development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure design and support from previous hands-on experience
• Proven experience with one or more of the following IP Telephony, Unified Communications and Collaborations solutions
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack including Windows 7 and, AzureE1 and E3 licensing for Enterprise Agreement
• Experience with VoIP and SIP implementation and support
• Good understanding of Virtualization technologies such as VMware
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
