As .NET Software Architect, you will share and communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, to executive staff, customers and technical resources.

You will help to determine which technologies to use. This will involve you working closely with developers to create required frameworks and architecture and ensure they are implemented properly.

Job responsibilities

  • Use Microsoft technologies: .NET, SQL and Microsoft Workflow to develop creative technical solutions to complex problems;
  • Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements;
  • Develop, maintain and support programs/tools for internal and external clients;
  • Assist in defining project plans requiring software development and hardware installations;
  • Ability to provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development;
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required;
  • Follow all departmental standards and methodologies;
  • Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and customers;
  • Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations;
  • Ability to lead a team with experience in project management

Job requirements

  • At least 10 years' experience of .NET development
  • Wide experience of .NET for developing web applications and desktop applications in an enterprise
  • Deep experience with database technology
  • Deep understanding of N-tier and N-layered architecture
  • Experience of leading multiple projects through the software development process or systems development life-cycle
  • Experience of UML plus tools to support architecture design e.g Enterprise Architect
