Senior Project Manager Finance
You will have a strategic role in the harmonization of existing processes and creating a new ones (agile, more customer-oriented). You will be responsible for initiation and coordination of cross functional and cross divisional alignment in respect to complex topics impacting financial results, reporting process or operational performance and accountable for improvements in financial processes, reporting for tax and regulatory purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Key driver for changes and improvements leads strategic projects that have major impact in the Downstream Gas organization
- Initiates, drives and coordinates projects for optimization and harmonization of processes, simplification, automation, performance management
- Coordinates projects together with tax team and other relevant structures in the organization for permanent improvement and minimization of tax risk
- Functional steering of inter-disciplinary teams for complex project scopes in new areas of business, organizational development and other cross functional and cross divisional programs as defined by top management, coordinating interfaces different functions within the company and in OMV Group and managing interdependencies to connected fields
- Identifies gaps or areas to improve in connecting the existing interfaces, proposes and agrees with relevant stakeholders solutions, making sure that appropriate process is in place
- Initiates and coordinates projects aiming to improve the process of reporting financial KPIs and results to the regulatory authorities
- Develops and implements of digital ways of working
- Initiates projects necessary to develop tools, knowledge or skills for the improvement of forecasting processes, PL, BS, FCF, based on assessment of existing flows of information, data ownership, financial modelling of net working capital
- Aligns views and plans with relevant stakeholders with Vienna Downstream organization
Requirements:
- Master diploma in Economics or comparable
- Professional educational background in project management
- At least 12 years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies such as agile, scrum, lean, kanban, etc., as well as knowledge of processes, roles and responsibilities on project management level
- Excellent knowledge of RAS, IAS, tax and regulatory principles
- Excellent leadership skills, outstanding communication, persuasion and presentation skills
- Excellent English language skills, spoken and written
- Innovative person, challenges the status quo and seeks for opportunities
- Very good understanding of gas and power markets relevant technical, commercial and other business relevant issues, including interdependencies and impact of the own function
- Solid experience in managing complex or large projects and ability to perform stakeholders analysis and undertake extensive change management plans
