Position Purpose:
Join our Facilities Engineer team and be responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product that meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. You will identify ways to improve safety, quality, yields, and the capability of existing processes while also assisting in the scale up and implementation of developmental products/processes. Core challenges include leading continuous process improvement to drive Key Performance Indicators for the operation to meet goals established by the business along with providing technical guidance to the operations team to assist with process troubleshooting along with developing corrective action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Part of plant maintenance program, including growth
- Preventive and predictive maintenance
- Spare parts
- Follow escalation process
- Part of project teams
- Resolve technical issues related with facilities
- Equipment troubleshooting
- Part of productivity improvements
- Enforce compliance according to Romanian legislation and company policy
- Drive culture of continuous improvement
- Resource management
- Suggests necessary expenses for activities in the department
- Prepares specific documentation for the maintenance activity
- Knowledge of the elements of the integrated management system - quality, health, safety and environment
- Verifies and confirms the maintenance work performed internally
- Conduct audits – if necessary
- Coordinates interventions on utilities, including maintenance activities on equipment
- Make proposals on reducing energy consumption where it considers necessary
- Conducts periodic HSE inspections in all sectors of activity
What Skills & Experience Do You Need?
You Must have
- Experience in facility
- Experience in Lean manufacturing or automotive industry
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in working in a production environment
- Microsoft Office suite
- English proficiency
