We are a cloud-based e-commerce platform offering bespoke digital products to customers across the globe.

We are now on a fast-moving mission to make and launch new products for existing customers as well as grow our existing product set into new markets.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the 3rd party providers who deliver all of the technology stack, helping them prioritise, build and deliver the most impactful features to our customers.
• As a member of the senior management team, build a composite roadmap that reflects the priorities in the different areas and continuously rebalance the teams to react to changes in the surrounding conditions.
• Work on problems with your teams, roll up your sleeves, form an opinion and advocate for engineering-specific roadmap items.
• Day to day manage all;

• security/alerts
• permissions/account managements etc
• tech tools, relationship and organisation etc
• keeps tools in check, updates the cloud, etc

• Work with product, operations, marketing and other disciplines to discover the best solutions for our customers.
• Deliver the technical input into the medium to long term strategy for the company

Requirements:

• Proven leadership skills. Your management skills and technical depth allows you to build good relationships with all external technical providers as well as build credibility within the company while executing broader engineering strategies.
• Proven technical leadership skills using technologies and frameworks such as React, , Python.
• Familiarity with distributed and highly available systems at scale.
• A strong technical foundation. You feel comfortable diving into the day to day and interacting with developers at all levels of seniority.
• You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders (Director level and up), both technical and non technical.
• Someone who comes up with solutions and executes efficiently, a team player with the right attitude and personality
• A commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence and results.
• Project Management skills alongside a good knowledge of the tools that support a growing commerce platform, CRM/Email systems, security protocols
• This role is fully remote so communications skills are of the upmost importance whilst understanding that all teams are working on three main time zones, Mainland Europe, Asia and USA East Coast
