We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with excellent Linux and Windows server System Administrator skills as well as scripting languages skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with software engineers, systems administrator and QA engineers to create streamlined, automated workflows.

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Developer/Engineer familiar with DevOps methodologies. The role will focus on the automation of workflows, primarily facilitating the CI/CD process for the developing teams and also maintaining servers, web services performance tuning, implementing server monitoring.

Apart for technical knowledge and thirst for learning new technologies, the ideal candidate would also be a good mentor for other engineers/developers to embrace DevOps mentality.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-5 years in Linux systems administration.
• Experience in Deployment pipelines for CI/CD with tools such as TeamCity, GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Experience in Infrastructure as code and comfortable in using orchestration and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, puppet, chef as well as scripting in Bash and Powershell.
• Experience with linux containers; ideally Kubernetes.
• Knowledge in setting up and maintaining databases, storages and streaming platforms such as PostgreSQL, Mongo, Kafka, Clickhouse and Ceph.
• Networking expertise in load balancing, firewalls, DNS.

Needed skills:

• Deep and broad Linux knowledge and skills.
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with software developers to architect solutions.
• A driving passion to improve existing processes and systems.
• Ability to identify problem areas and create elegant solutions.
• Knowledge of Virtualization/container technologies such as OpenStack, VMWare, HyperV Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with using one or more of the main cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Ideal candidate would have a solid background in software engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
