Sales Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements
• Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of company’s products and solutions/services
• Prepare and send to customers quotations based on RFQs (Request for Quote)
• Ensuring that all commercial and technical information communicated is complete, accurate and timely
• Whenever necessary, looks for alternative solutions for the cases where the customer needs (e.g. delivery time) cannot be satisfied
• Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM/ERP and other tools as required
• Document customer satisfaction feedback in CRM, following-up as appropriate
• Pro-actively follow up quotes
• Conducting all business activities and all communication in a professional manner at all times
• Support order processing to ensure that purchase orders are commercially and technically complete and accurate
• Working closely with Logistics, Material Management, Solutions or Purchasing departments
• Draw-up specific activity reports
• Brings improvements suggestions to support meeting the company’s goals
• Ensuring that activities are carried out according to agreed departmental KPIs

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical etc.)
• Relevant experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, sales representative, technical sales)
• Languages: English – advanced level
• PC skills: MS Office, Internet, ERP knowledge – SAP is an advantage, but not mandatory
