Position Overview: The Reporting & Data Analyst role provides reporting support responsibilities to business units. The Analyst will be responsible for regular analysis for both Billing and C&C teams within OTC organization. The role requires independent initiative, ability to collect, organize and display data in spreadsheets format and in Business Intelligence platforms.

 

The position is a support role with accountability for reporting business and operational performance, providing reporting/analysis, driving standardization, continuous improvement and consistency across multiple processes and teams.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly and month end management and operational OTC reports
  • Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department.
  • Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points, some of them ad-hoc
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Creates impactful visual representations of analytic insights and concise summaries of methodology geared to audience needs;

 

Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Business administration, Economics, or Computer Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working with data / preparing reports / analytical background
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Strong system experience and computing skills: Oracle, Microsoft Office, Business Objects Reports development, advanced Excel skills, Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Macros, database, MS Access, billing and C&C applications, etc
  • Tableau reporting would be an added advantage
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Strong initiatives & self-motivated
  • Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior managers within a broad scope.
  • Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent ability to build executive level partnerships across functions and businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
  • Able to work across time zones in a multi-cultural environment

 

Performance Measures:

  • Accuracy of reports produced
  • Delivery of the reports according to the deadlines
