Plant Controller

JOB PURPOSE:

Contribute to setting up financial planning, budget control, control and reporting policies for the assigned operating unit/functional area as well as analyse financial data and results, report on findings and formulate recommendations and call to action in line with financial & business plan in order to advise and support management in the realization of the objectives in terms of efficiency, cost control, sales and profitability sharing.

CONTEXT:

The Controller supports the business by providing and analysing financial information in order to contribute to management decisions. The Controller manages the operations finance in Sibiu / Miercurea production plant. The Controller is in close contact with operational management and needs to have a good understanding of the business and the business processes. He or she oversees all aspects of the organization’s finance, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, auditing and asset management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide Periodic Financial Reporting for  Miercurea production site
• Budgeting and Forecasting of Miercurea production site
• Be the driver in the business performance analysis
• Reporting and driving of Working Capital
• Support in Internal and External Audit with information and guidance of process flows
• Be Support in Investment files  
  
  

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Master Economics/Finance/Controlling/Accounting
• At least 5 year experience in controlling area in production environment
• You are fluent in English (written and speech)
• Experience in accounting and tax topics will be an advantage
• High proficiency in Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. Knowledge of WIZZPRO and/or SAP will be a plus
• Self-starter, mature in the mindset
• Strong technical background in management accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills, ability to link and synthesize complex data
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Good performance track with clear achievements
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Willingness to learn, extreme attention to the details
• Ability to deal with different functions and level within the organization
