The Pega Business Architect develops Pega-based solutions. It includes gathering business requirements, co-designing the cases, processes and forms with the Product Owners, implementing the required business logic, writing unit tests and maintain existing solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-reliant who has mastered Pega Scrum methodology and who is comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you lead the development of Pega-based solutions.
- You partner with business stakeholders or their IT representative, with leading and assisting in the identification and definition of requirements, use cases, process flows, screen flows, and user interfaces;
- You animate DCO sessioto capture and to organize the backlog,
- You elaborate the features , the user stories and the acceptance criteria, challenging on feasibility whenever applicable,
- You interact with and communicate solution requirements to other project members,
- You develop rules following Pega best practices and guard-rails,
- You report your progress to the core team during the daily calls,
- You demonstrate the solutions during sprints review and show & tell sessions.
- You could work in projects or support incidents in the Operations if need be, complying with defined SLA.
- You can also participate in system and user acceptance testing efforts and act as 3rd level support whenever critical issues appear with the solution/application.
Accountabilities:
- Requirements gathering and user stories elaboration,
- Backlog refinement through animation of DCO sessions,
- Definition of acceptance criteria,
- Rules development in compliance with Pega best practices & guard-rails,
- Creation of unit test cases,
- Reporting progress in the product backlog and during daily calls,
- Demonstrating your solution to the Stakeholders during the sprint review/ show and tell sessions.
Experience
- Minimum job experience of 2 years developing Pega based solutions
- Ability to understand business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation
- Experience and desire to work in a global environment
Skills
Business skills:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities,
- Demonstrated history of applying varied approaches to solve complex business support challenges of significance to the organization,
- Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing using the English language.
IT skills:
- Must be a Pega Certified Business Architect,
- Experience with Pega methodology and the ability to teach the same to adjacent stakeholders,
- Possess advanced understanding of Pega architecture, tools, and frameworks
- Knowledge of SCRUM

- Ability and flexibility to work independently as well as in a team

Languages

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT
