WHAT YOU'LL DO?
You’ll be responsible for the development, specification and evaluation of optics in camera and vision systems. You will have many contact areas both internally and externally, with international clients and suppliers, as well as colleagues in other departments. You will be a part of a small tight team where everyone is involved in the daily work and jointly conducts ongoing projects.
Your task will include requirements management, specification of optical performance, tolerance studies to ensure performance in vision systems. You are also expected to drive and conduct investigations to find improvements in processes, methods and products/systems, as well as analyzing presented optical solutions, both theoretically and through measurements.
You’ll be able to drive matters from idea, through design and testing, to implementation in production. You will also be driving in further development of methodologies and processes within the camera department.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING?
In order to succeed in the role, we prefer you to be a mechanical engineer or equivalent in Technical Physics, preferably with a focus on Optoelectronics and/ or Measurement Technology.
We Also Believe That You Have
Expertise in Optics, Optronics, Imaging System and Optical Measurement Technology
Design skills of optical systems including tolerance analyzes
Experience of software for optics design would be an advantage (Zemax or similar)
Experience in specifying and claiming optical components design would be an advantage (lens and sensor)
Experience of statistical analysis linked to high volume production would be an advantage
To fit for this position, you’ll need to have good planning abilities and a high-quality awareness. As a person, you are curious, creative and driving. Furthermore, you are required to be responsible and careful. It’s an advantage if you have experience of customer contacts and managing suppliers as well as leading supplier evaluations focusing on technical aspects.
