Operations Product Manager - Arad
Tasks:
Overall the Operations Product Manager has three areas of responsibility: Cost Management, Creation and Development of new solutions as well as strategic planning.
Regarding Cost Management you steer, execute and coordinate various activities to monitor and optimize local and global product costs (with major focus on production) during Acquisition-, Development- and Prodcution Phase. In the Acquisition Phase you act as the central interface for program management in the case of production-related acquisition tasks, to ensure a direct response and a competitive cost estimate as the basis for the customer offer. You are also responsible for directing, monitoring and analyzing the evolution of manufacturing costs versus goals throughout the product lifecycle. In the case of deviations, you initiate countermeasures and track them. Also, you assess within the global production network the competitiveness of your location by performing various benchmarks. Overall you identify the biggest cost improvement levers and focus on efficient counter measures. Every six months you are applying your know-how in the frame of the OPM Week at a foreign production location.
On top you are continuously evaluating the tool landscape and in case you see potential to improve you conceptualize your idea and present it to the Top Management in Operations. Afterwards you drive the implementation of new the approach and you roll-out it globally.
Finally, you are coordinating all strategic topics in your Location within the yearly strategy process(SCU) in alignment with Plant Manager by . analyzing the product portfolio or developing the Plant roadmap and monitoring the long-term turnover development of your location.
Qualifications:
Successfully completed Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Several years' relevant professional experience
Goal-oriented and structured way of working
High communication skills, flexibility and dedication
Very good knowledge of English
