Operational Purchasing Interim Manager
mvc services & project management is looking for an experienced Operational Purchasing Interim Manager at the area of Stuttgart, Germany, for a Mechanical Engineering Company. The project is planned to last until the end of 2020 with the possibility of prolongation or entering in a full time employment contract.
Tasks:
- Consolidation of demands from multiple departments
- Assessment of demands and aligning delivery dates with suppliers
- Evaluate delivery terms and times from multiple suppliers
- Maintain (material) master data in ERP
- Request for offers at multiple suppliers and develop a multiple supplier strategy
- Evaluation and comparison of offers from suppliers as well as supplier selection and contracting
- Processing purchase orders for required quantities and quality
- Order tracking and delivery date tracking
- Supplier assessment
- Management of return shipments
Requirements:
- Technical background and education with University degree preferably in mechanical engineering
- Proven track in operational, international purchasing
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Management elements
- SAP knowledge would is a plus
- Good German and English language skills
