mvc services & project management is looking for an experienced Operational Purchasing Interim Manager at the area of Stuttgart, Germany, for a Mechanical Engineering Company. The project is planned to last until the end of 2020 with the possibility of prolongation or entering in a full time employment contract.

Tasks:

1. Consolidation of demands from multiple departments
2. Assessment of demands and aligning delivery dates with suppliers
3. Evaluate delivery terms and times from multiple suppliers
4. Maintain (material) master data in ERP
5. Request for offers at multiple suppliers and develop a multiple supplier strategy
6. Evaluation and comparison of offers from suppliers as well as supplier selection and contracting
7. Processing purchase orders for required quantities and quality
8. Order tracking and delivery date tracking
9. Supplier assessment
10. Management of return shipments

 

Requirements:

 

1. Technical background and education with University degree preferably in mechanical engineering
2. Proven track in operational, international purchasing
3. Good understanding of Supply Chain Management elements
4. SAP knowledge would is a plus
5. Good German and English language skills

End: Dec 2020
