The Global Sales Support (GSS) provides sales support and bid management for Nokia Networks. The GSS is part of the Customer Operations organization and operates from six worldwide locations - Noida (India), Mexico City (Mexico), Beijing (China), Kiev (Ukraine), Timisoara (Romania) and Cairo (Egypt).
General Purpose of Job
The purpose of the MS Solution Architect is to develop appropriate MS solutions in the Outsourcing and Network & Service Management, Managed Security Services and Digital Operation domains. Ensure customer satisfaction with respective Market solution and delivery teams. Has overall responsibility to develop and drive Managed Services Solutions in GSS.
Main Responsibility Area / Job Description
An architect captures, analyzes, manages and influences the functional and non-functional requirements by using industry best practices and create/contribute to customer requirement summaries for solution development use.
Owning and creation of E2E Network and Service Operation Solutions, Customer Experience Operations, Cloud Operations, Managed Security Services & Digital Operation for Wireless, Fixed, Transport and VNF Operations etc. related Share of Responsibility and cost estimates.
Other documents as per MS Solution Creation & Management Process, in particular Business Case Documents.
Other responsibilities include - Skill Analysis, Tool Analysis and making recommendation, Customer Solution Presentation, Solution Description, Competence Gap Analysis / Dev Concept, incl. partnering recommendation.
All above mentioned will be performed in close cooperation with other SBU in respective Markets ODs, GNOC/NOC,NPO solution consultants.
Qualification Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience 10 to 12 years relevant experience or overall 12 to 15 years

The MS Solution Architect should demonstrate a strong track record in successfully creating and delivering a variety of MS solutions from pre-sales to delivery including handover.
Analysis and comments RFP documents
Designs target Network Operations solution architecture based on gained insights about current CSP setup and operations architecture, while considering RFP requirements and NSN OSS tools landscape while including Nokia NOC capabilities , NPO capabilities.
Drives Solution Architecture Work stream during sale phase until contracting and is responsible for successful fulfillment of RFP requirements.
Generates required internal (Nokia Approval Process) and external customer documents (Managed Service Solution Description, Presentation, etc.) in time and in appropriate quality.
Propose business case risks, analyze and recommend risk mitigation measures to minimize the project risk for Nokia. English language understanding (business fluent – reading, writing, speaking and comprehension).

- Work closely with Market Engagement lead to design & develop solutions to fulfill customer’s needs by understanding the customer’s challenges and architectures and turning that into a customer solution
- Understand MS business opportunity and use his knowledge that fulfills the profitable business for Nokia
- Solution Leadership and ownership
- Responsible for defining competitive MS solutions for the market
- Drive discussions on solution definition and closure with respective Markets MS solutions lead
- First time right solution definition
- Own solution reviews including, deal assurance and MS war room exercises
- RFP responses
- Prepare and Review Managed Services Solutions to optimize cost and maximize effectiveness and efficiency in winning customer contracts
- Support CT and contracts management during contract negotiation, closures and terms of reference.
- Support Market MS Solution handshake during handover to delivery with respective COM organizations.
- Support in Customer contract, scope and cost benchmarking
- Update and refine MS dimensioning guidelines in consultation with respective Market
- Continuously Innovate and update MS delivery models
- Contribute to shape the future Managed Service strategy
- Create/capture/consolidate new competence and experiences, best practices, lessons learned for capability development
- Creates service concepts including delivery model and capability requirements
- Discussions and monthly Interlock with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Market Engagement & Solution leads)
- Technical and business skills with an understanding of wide range of networks (Wireless, Fixed, Transport, VNF Operations and products of both Nokia and 3rd party
- A source of expertise for others in own product/sales area. Understanding client/operator needs. Matching customer needs with Nokia Networks products/systems/services and translating solutions to provide clear customer value and benefits
- Capable of coaching, mentoring and sharing best practices and expert technical knowledge to the other team members in the GSS GS Managed Service team.
