Mission : Define and create the retail design & merchandising strategy for L’Oreal Paris and Maybelline in order to implement the brands image and identity in stores & reinforce brands visibility, in line with international guidelines. Jointly grow the make up category and over proportionately the division, through a strategic alignment with the retailers and superior understanding of shopper needs and behaviors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build a trustful relation with counterparts at retails’, gain category captaincies, monitor category projects rollout, regularly updating Business Development manager.
  • Act as the referent for make up category questions. Support the commercial team in their business plan alignment with retailers, with the right shopper and category insights, market and category reviews, and during retailer presentation.
  • Realize quarterly portfolio analysis, proposing assortment optimization to marketing and contributing to reducing the stock in trade
  • Co-undertake the conception, development and implementation of new make-up sections in trade
  • Design, validate and coordinate the production and implementation of materials for launches, according to marketing launch plan. Valorize key segments according to the marketing strategy of the brand. Ensure that the brand image in the POS is according to the guidelines - update the visuals and permanent PLV according to the key priorities of the brands in the year
  • Implement the merchandising solutions for different distribution channels and store types. Manage the stock of furniture for Maybelline NY and L'Oreal Paris, in trade and in the warehouses.
  • Conceive and follow up the implementation of planograms, according to the the merchandising guidelines of each brand and the weight of the categories. Reduce complexity by reducing number pf planograms in trade.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and legal aspects regarding production norms
  • Recruit, develop and manage his/her team. Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organisation changes
  • Ensure follow-up of the budget

  • Technical & Professional Competencies Required
    • Capacity to analyze large volumes of data. Ability to analyze the performance.
    • Sensitivity towards beauty categories – mainly make-up. Good knowledge of shopper behavior.
    • Excellent communication and people skills, influencing skills and time management
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing or related field
    • Very good command of English
    • Initiative spirit and proactive mindset
