Localization Test Technician
Ivanti is the brainchild of LANDESK and HEAT Software that combined its powers in 2017. Ivanti offers IT solutions designed to increase user productivity while reducing IT security risk.
The R&D center from Bucharest includes over 40 software development professionals who work with multiple technologies, various flavors of Microsoft technologies, mobile technologies etc. Software development is done mainly in C#, but lately C++ too.
Ivanti is planning to continue investing in the Romanian center, in terms of office space, the best IT equipment and in hiring and training IT professionals.

Localization Test Technician
Position Summary:
Responsible for localization QA engineering of Ivanti foreign language products in preparation for market release. A Localization Test Technician prepares and maintains a set of test machines and OS’s for the target language(s) and performs specified tests in scripted and manual testing scenarios. Also provides quality linguistic services (translation and QA) and maintains the target language translation memory. The general scope of work includes quality analysis, vendor management, localization engineering and localization testing for Ivanti products.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Mobile devices with Mobile Operating Systems
- Experience with software testing – Localization preferred
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Base knowledge of networking infrastructure, architecture, and protocols
- Experience with defect tracking tools and defect lifecycles
- Defect analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of OS imaging tools (VM, HyperV etc)
- Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts
- Ability to create accrete test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of computer hardware architecture
- Experience with Microsoft and Apple Mac Operating Systems
- Understanding of client/server architecture and databases
Linguistic Skills:
- Native/Near Native or Professional Business level fluency in one or more languages in Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Spanish and French.
- Business level fluency in English
Interpersonal Skills:
- A professional team player
- Self-driven, ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to handle various multi-tasks in multi-languages
