Receive plans from customers and re-plans wells as required, prepares initial planning for directionall and horizontal wells, anti-collision analysis using ellipses and tool errors model, inputs, calculate and validate surveys on a daily basis;Generate a plan view and graphical presentation of the directional profile; Provides technical support on location and/or customer's office as required by the customer; Consults with customers to determine their specific needs; Offers advice on equipment capabilities and advises field personnel on technical complexity of job; develops solutions to technical problems as required; Perform various other duties assigned by manager/lead within the physical constraints of the job; Participate in teams to prepare technical and financial documents for tenders; Attend morning meetings at the customer representatives; Verify the accuracy and calculation mode of daily cost received from field for each well in progress; Perform the cost estimations together with DS Manager and Desk Engineer ; Update and revise the DS forms according to internal codification and participate at internal/ external audits regarding the ISO certification and implementation; Use 5D software for planning; Use OneSync software for simulating T&D & Hyd. & Vibration & Static calculations; Centralizing data received from field or from customer, end of well reports - actual versus proposed. ( job folder in physical check & copy hardware ).
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Earth Science preferred.
Basic knowledge of Drilling Systems products and services
Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences, able to work in teams effectively, excellent written and spoken communication skills, excellent computer skills.
