You are part of a global IT Team and as IT Commercial Support for Continental Cloud Services you are mainly responsible for the Cloud cost controlling, internal billing and reporting from our Cloud service providers (e.g. Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure) worldwide.

This Includes In Detail
  • Budget planning for Continental Cloud Services together with the IT Cloud Service Owners/Consultants in the Continental Divisions/Central Functions.
  • Responsible for the Cloud related financial processes like “purchase to pay process”, “Continental internal cost transfer process (internal billing)”, “Cloud controlling and reporting process”.
  • Financial Consulting of different stakeholders like IT, Intercompany Systems, Accounting, Purchasing, Tax Department, Controlling and Cloud Account Owners in case of Cloud Controlling related topics.
  • Responsible for the management of an external tool which will be used for Cloud provider data collection, data preparation for internal billing, reporting for different stakeholders, cost alerting and cost optimization.
  • Preparation of an early-warning system and to setup an Cloud cost alerting (plan vs. actual costs) based on defined thresholds.
  • Analyze cloud usage and potentials for cost optimization together with the IT Cloud Consultants.
  • Process and tool documentation and training of different stakeholders.
  • Preparation of special reports and presentations based on Management requests.

Qualifications
  • Academic degree: Business Informatics, Business Administration and Engineering or equal.

    Experience:
  • Several years of professional experience with Finance and Controlling.
  • IT affinity especially in new digitalization technologies like Cloud.

    Profound knowledge in:
  • Business fluent in English and good in German language.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong capabilities to analyze and solve unstructured problems.
  • Self-orientated and goal-driven working style as well as excellent communication skills and capability to present concepts to other employees.
  • Willingness to travel to Germany and international.
  • Flexible, open-mindedness, resilient, team player and intercultural competence.
