Responsibilities:

• Local IT infrastructure is working properly
• Local IT is supporting plant needs based on IT standards of Eberspächer
• Enforce IT standards on plant level
• Install and replace local PCs/Laptops/Printer as defined by central IT
• Install and administer local servers as defined by central IT
• Support projects with IT requirements on plant level
• Troubleshooting on plant level / first point of contact by errors/questions of local users
• Manages the IT equipment (hardware, additional equipment, software, etc) of the site in Production Area;
• Installs the hardware and software and set up computer equipment for all the users under his responsibility;
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, Zebra printer and software issues in Production Area;
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network related issues;
• Provides guidance and support to users on central applications.

Requirements:

• Adaptability within a global group framework;
• Previous experience in first or second line IT Support
• English language is a must; german would be a plusHorizontal structural cabling for industrial environment;
• Horizontal structural cabling for office environment;
• Ability to create accurate network diagram/IT traceability diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems;
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products using documentation;
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT;
• Basic Knowledge on Cisco Active network equipment (switch, router, wireless access points and controller);
• Knowledge of Microsoft System Center (SCCM ) - would be a plus;
• Knowledge on Windows Client/Server and Windows Domain (AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge on Virtualization (VMWare)
• Data base knowledge\skills  – IBM DB2  - would be a plus.
• CCNA certification would be a plus
