1 Responsibilities
Provide technical service and support to new and existing customer networks, telecom and datacom.
Plan, design, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks. Analyses isolate and solve complex fault issues as well as contribute to corrective actions.
Configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.
All activities performed should (normally) be in accordance to customer contract. Interact with customer technical staff and operation managers, service engineers and other groups, within Service Delivery organization. Also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party suppliers and local authorities
Monitoring of the services, by executing daily routines within office hours on the end-to-end services, networks and network components by using generic and customer specific systems, tools and processes.
Acts as a central point of contact in event handling within the boundaries of the network fulfillment services to achieve efficient and effective execution of Network Fulfillment activities.
Has direct contact with 3rd parties (mostly network vendors) to ensure problems/adaptations are solved within set time frames.

- REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
- SAP Mobile Secure (Afaria, Mocana & Mobile Docs)
- Oracle BRM
- BMC Remedy
- Orcacle PL/SQL
- Advanced scripting knowledge (Perl/Shell)
- Red Hat / Linux (Certified, preferred)
- Data Base Administration
- Solid knowledge about SNMP v1, v2
- Sun Certified System Administrator (or equivalent knowledge including Sun Clusters)
- Knowledge of Direct Attached Storage Solutions
- ITIL Foundations
- Basic networking knowledge
- Service network layer functionality (Circuit Switching, Packet Switching)
- Resource layer (Access network, Core network control, Core network transport, Service network)
