We are building a new group level team at EveryMatrix to strengthen ourselves on M&A and corporate finance in a very international company. You will be an integral part of the M&A/Corporate Finance Team that secures the group funding while also responsible for M&A projects as we try to expand geographically and consolidate the iGaming B2B space. The group is currently working on a US entry strategy and ultimately the target could be an IPO. You will work closely with the founders and main stakeholders in the group, as well as other Group support functions and the finance team.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will join a team of technical experts from within the group, the CEO, CFO, inhouse legal and the Controlling team and work closely with external advisors where needed. The team is expected to grow.

Responsibilities:

 

It will be in your daily responsibility to assist in our M&A projects, from planning to execution, to manage deadlines and collect input from relevant internal functions. You will also be a central part of planning our own capital structure and help raise funds for M&A projects.

The goal for you is to create a constructive dialogue with senior stakeholders and an efficient engagement with external advisors. You will also be involved in identification and initial screening of targets, data collection and analysis through valuation modelling and assisting with due diligence.

You will be the coordinator of the Group’s overall M&A activities, as the central part of the new M&A team, and deeply involved in Business Development across the Group.

The project management responsibilities will also include establishing and maintaining regular procedures around feedback to group senior management on the status on investment proposals and ongoing projects.

Further, you will handle ad hoc tasks and respond to inquiries from senior management.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English is a must.

• You hold a degree within Economics, Finance or similar. Ideally you have some years of experience from investment banking, a corporate finance function or management consulting.
• You can document and provide references for a successful track record in M&A project management skills. You must have good analytical and quantitative skills.
• You can absorb complex information easily and can relay it in a coherent and credible manner. It is important that you can do so to project authority and thus influence your key stakeholders to make solid decisions.
• Our team is very dynamic, and we expect that the candidate will enjoy the collaborative working style. However, being self-motivated and able to act on plans and deadlines is a necessity. The candidate will need to be emotionally intelligent, mature and resilient and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
