The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as Performance Management, HR Administrative Processes, Compensation and Benefits. We are looking for an organized, experienced, precise and detail-oriented person, with great communication skills.

A typical day at OLX Group in this role could include:
  • Provide relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules, sales commissions, benefits) for Payroll;
  • Conduct Performance Management processes, offering guidance and support to both Managers and teams;
  • Cover all legal compliance for Human Resources state requirements;
  • Prepare HR & employee documents and maintain employee records and paperwork;
  • Update and maintain the employee data bases with accurate data (e.g. Fusion) and provide date for local and regional reporting;
  • Revise, update and create HR policies and procedures;
  • Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
  • Explain and provide information on employee benefits, programs, and education. May also advise on benefit needs or evaluate benefit contract bids;
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates, salary equity according to the used methodologies).


What Will Make You Successful In This Role
  • Strong experience in HR Administrative, Compensation & Benefit areas;
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills;
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping;
  • Organized and efficient in daily tasks;
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws and best practices;
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
