As part of the Global IT Finance Team, this role will support the Global IT function to produce accurate financial data and analysis, to drive changes and improvements in forecasting and providing the insights processes.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage and co-ordinates activities to
- Control and ensure delivery of accurate financial information (budgets, forecasts and actual results) for Global IT cost (Central and Regional IT), in line with group accounting principles;
- Challenge, improve, simplify existing management reporting processes, based on best practice and in line with group standardisation;
- Coordinate activities related to Group IT Annual Budget Review, quarterly forecast and actuals reporting– issuing reporting guidance, communicating reporting deadlines;
- Be a custodian for IT Overheads internal policies and procedures;
- Continuous engagement with cross functional stakeholders (eg. HR OE);
- Coordinate management reporting activities between IT Finance stakeholders, based in London, Malaysia, Romania and United States;
- Manage two direct reports.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) is a strong plus;
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment, with at least 2-3 years’ experience in Management reporting and accounting;
- Strong people management skills, both those under direct and indirect control;
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, especially consolidation systems (BPC, HFM or similar);
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties;
- Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format;
- Rational decision making and problem solving ability is essential;
- Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines.
