I. FIELD TRADER - HIRING

This position will be responsible for the purchase, sell and trade of assigned commodities to maximize profitability. To prospect and develop new trading customers and to maintain and improve service to existing customers.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Negotiate the purchase and/or sale of assigned commodities;
• Identify market trends and positions assigned to maximize profitability;
• Ensure all purchases, sales and trades comply with existing recommendations and Company policies;
• Prospect and develop new sourcing customers;
• Provide logistical support and customer service for established customers to ensure all customer requirements are attained.
• Provides information to the management about market shares of competition, trends and/or consumer/reseller requirements.
• It travels in representative area, provides and maintains constant connection with the farmers.

Preferred Education:

• BS Degree (Agriculture, Business Management or Economic)

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of feed commodity experience.
• Understanding of cash commodity markets.
• Understanding of all aspects of the trading business (. purchase, sale, transportation, logistics (truck, rail, barge), accounts receivable and position risk).
  

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

• Normal climate-controlled office environment.
• Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Able to move freely
  throughout the facility. Required to travel to remote Agribusiness facilities and other customer
  locations.
  - Category B Driving license
  - English language speaker is an advantage
  

Roles are available in the following locations:

• South - East Romania (Calarasi, Ialomita, Constanta) and South Romania (Olt, Dolj) along the Danube 
• VAIT Romania office - based in Otopeni trading with accounts in the Southern corridor along the Danube and up to Constanta.

II. SENIOR TRADER - HIRING

This position will be responsible for the purchase, sell and trade of assigned commodities to maximize profitability. To prospect and develop new trading customers and to maintain and
improve service to existing customers.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Negotiate the purchase and/or sale of assigned commodities;
• Manage trading positions, inventories and forward positions to minimize risk and maximize profitability;
• Identify market trends and positions assigned to maximize profitability;
• Ensure all purchases, sales and trades comply with existing recommendations and Company policies;
• Prospect and develop new sourcing customers;
• Provide logistical support and customer service for key customers accounts to ensure all customer requirements are attained;
• Develop long-term strategic plans to ensure growth and profitability.
• Position will be responsible for daily communication of international market values and trends to the broader organization.
  

Preferred Education:

• BS Degree (Agriculture, Business Management or Economic)
  

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of feed commodity experience.
• Understanding of cash commodity markets.
• Understanding of all aspects of the trading business (. purchase, sale, transportation, logistics (truck, rail, vessel), accounts receivable and position risk).
